Who handles your data

What you send me

The contact form submits exactly this:

• your name
• your email address
• preferred month for the session — optional
• type of session
• how you heard about me
• the text of your message

Your IP address is used briefly at the moment you submit: to check the form wasn’t sent by a bot, and to limit how many submissions come from one place. I don’t store it and don’t use it for anything else.

Why, and on what basis

I use your details only to reply to you and arrange a session if there is one. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, or my legitimate interest in answering your message, Art. 6(1)(f). You are not added to any newsletter, you get no marketing from me, and your details are never sold.

Who else sees it

I don’t run the site or the mail myself, so your message passes through these services on its way to my inbox:

• Cloudflare — site hosting, anonymous visit counting, spam protection on the form (Turnstile), and forwarding of mail sent to hello@
• Resend — delivery of the email the form generates
• Google — the Gmail inbox I read your message in

These are processors with servers outside the EU as well as inside it. The transfer is covered by their standard contractual clauses, or by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long I keep it

I keep your message in my inbox for as long as the conversation is live — at most two years after the last reply, then I delete it. If the session turns into a booking, I keep the related details for as long as accounting and tax rules require.

Cookies and visit counting

This site stores no cookies and nothing else in your browser, and runs no ad scripts or cross-site tracking. Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics: cookieless measurement that creates no identifier and cannot recognise you on a later visit. It records aggregate figures only — the page visited, where you arrived from, device type and country. That’s why there is no consent banner here — there is nothing to consent to.

Your rights

At any time you have the right to:

• find out what I hold about you
• have anything inaccurate corrected
• have it erased
• restrict how it is used
• object to it being used
• receive it in a portable form

Just write to hello@petrasladeckova.com — erasure I do straight away. If you believe I’m handling your data wrongly, you can also complain to the Slovak data protection authority, Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR, dataprotection.gov.sk.
